The Administrativo Sport Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henry Gunnarsson should have stopped the shot. Administrativo Sport Club's Henry Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Sayveon in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Carlos Teves notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Administrativo Sport Club's Henry Gunnarsson. Henry Gunnarsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Donato Sampaio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. La Guardia Imperial were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Administrativo Sport Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcial Abaunza took the corner. The corner ended in Marcial Abaunza almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Administrativo Sport Club's Henry Gunnarsson did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Sampaio in the 44th minute of play forced La Guardia Imperial's goalkeeper Atilano Esiquio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donato Sampaio made a kick off. A collision led to Administrativo Sport Club getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Basilio Tolino hit a great ball. La Guardia Imperial's Carlos Teves got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
