An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Teves in the 22nd minute of play forced Club Deportivo Álvarez's goalkeeper Maximino Constancio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, La Guardia Imperial's Atilano Esiquio got control of the ball when Habeeb Shevchenko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maximino Constancio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Teves in the 27th minute of the match. La Guardia Imperial's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Habeeb Shevchenko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After having played for 69 minutes, Carlos Teves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Guardia Imperial's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Teves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Teves in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximino Constancio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Teves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 74 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Álvarez's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Teves came free, but Maximino Constancio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximino Constancio came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by La Guardia Imperial's Carlos Teves. But to his dismay, Carlos Teves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. After 86 played minutes La Guardia Imperial got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Elorri. Adrian Lohitzun took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Atilano Esiquio. Atilano Esiquio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Club Deportivo Álvarez's Pascual Deunoro was substituted for Victorino Gonchan. Maximino Constancio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Teves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Carlos Teves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Club Deportivo Álvarez fans cheered their team off the field, for while La Guardia Imperial had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
