Raimundo Urtungo was slow to take the kick. During this time La Marea Roja FC's players had a chance to rest. Cristobal Elija came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Orkatz could save by the left post. Jonathan Orkatz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristobal Elija in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Diablos Rojos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maria Teresa came free, but Jonathan Orkatz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Marea Roja FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronnie McCrimmor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maria Teresa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Cristobal Elija, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 51 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jonathan Orkatz was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Maria Teresa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Orkatz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Elija, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Diablos Rojos FC's Harold Schivy got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 65 played minutes, La Marea Roja FC's Raimundo Urtungo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Orkatz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La Marea Roja FC reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maria Teresa in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Orkatz saved Diablos Rojos FC from getting behind. After 67 minutes, Maria Teresa made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Diablos Rojos FC's Jonathan Orkatz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Diablos Rojos FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for La Marea Roja FC.
