The crowd rose to their feet as Rafael Domeka kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Atilano Esiquio. That made the score 1-2 in the 21 minute of play. A collision led to La Guardia Imperial getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Marcial Abaunza hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, La Guardia Imperial's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Domeka came free, but Atilano Esiquio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29thth minute of the game Carlos Teves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SOUTH AFRICA's Romeo Dominic was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SOUTH AFRICA's goalkeeper Romeo Dominic, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carlos Teves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 37th minute Carlos Teves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Dominic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, 张洲荣 recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Atilano Esiquio. 张洲荣 showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. After a rather tough play, SOUTH AFRICA's Chen Jing Li got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Carlos Teves struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Romeo Dominic didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Guardia Imperial. Chen Jing Li hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Francisco Sayveon might have been able to make a better finish in the 49th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romeo Dominic. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Sayveon ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Teves to strike the kick off in the second half. Francisco Sayveon's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Romeo Dominic firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 56th minute, Carlos Teves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romeo Dominic was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind SOUTH AFRICA's goalkeeper Romeo Dominic, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Romeo Dominic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Teves, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Atilano Esiquio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Mel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SOUTH AFRICA made a substitution. A nice corner shot did that Marcial Abaunza got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Romeo Dominic quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Clodoveo Barbosa's late challenge caught a SOUTH AFRICA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clodoveo Barbosa helped the player get up and apologised. Carlos Teves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Romeo Dominic having to make a save. Romeo Dominic made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Teves in the 84th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Carlos Teves kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Romeo Dominic. That made the score 2-4 in the 86 minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, SOUTH AFRICA's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Teves came free, but Romeo Dominic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atilano Esiquio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolf Roppel in the 90th minute of the match. Chen Jing Li made in the 93rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Romeo Mel immediately put the ball in play. If 龚震泉 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Teves got free with Romeo Dominic in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
