Bartolo Viator kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Leon Aznaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Ekhi in the 5th minute of play. Ermegildo Donio charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ermegildo Donio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Avellaneda FC booed when CA Intifada Palestina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Donio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alessandro López showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Peyo in the 9th minute of the match. Edgardo Silvanito took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leon Aznaro. Leon Aznaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Leon Aznaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Silvanito in the 27th minute of play. Alessandro López made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Peyo in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute Edgardo Silvanito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Aznaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute CA Intifada Palestina were awarded a corner. Ermegildo Donio went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Bartolo Viator got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alessandro López quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Alessandro López showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Viator in the 39th minute of the match. CA Intifada Palestina were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Avellaneda FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ermegildo Donio took the corner. Edgardo Silvanito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Iker Ekhi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leon Aznaro was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. After 47 played minutes Avellaneda FC got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Obano. Ermegildo Donio, 48 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Rickard Ahlkvist made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Bruno Peyo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA Intifada Palestina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Peyo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alessandro López took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Peyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute Bartolo Viator shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro López saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Aznaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rickard Ahlkvist in the 63rd minute of play. Bartolo Viator received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Alessandro López tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CA Intifada Palestina's Justino Valery was substituted for Jerzy Plachetka. A collision led to CA Intifada Palestina getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Segundo Calvino hit a great ball. Segundo Calvino hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Avellaneda FC's Lionel Escalona tried to score from far away in the 69th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Rickard Ahlkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 82 minutes, Inocencio Sedeni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CA Intifada Palestina and the Avellaneda FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paulo José Lira kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Alessandro López showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Peyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Alessandro López made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Peyo in the 91st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bruno Peyo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alessandro López was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
