In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fuerte Esperanza FC's goalkeeper Hector Hurko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Segundo Gaxan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Hector Hurko made a huge save. In the 33rd match minute, Estudiantes de rio IV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melchor Cordarin to maneuver through the defense. Emilio Palos came out of the goal and Fermin Furtado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Segundo Gaxan was the one to do the kick off. Chris-George Henrix hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Segundo Gaxan struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Hector Hurko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estudiantes de rio IV. The supporters of Estudiantes de rio IV booed when Fuerte Esperanza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laureano Rameriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laureano Rameriz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Emilio Palos made a huge save. Dalmacio Musko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hector Hurko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Musko in the 82nd minute of play. After 84 minutes Fuerte Esperanza FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Manuel Quiroga who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Dalmacio Musko got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hector Hurko quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 86 minutes into the match, Ildefonso Cuartio notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Fuerte Esperanza FC's Hector Hurko. Hector Hurko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hector Hurko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ildefonso Cuartio went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Estudiantes de rio IV's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
