Iker Ekhi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Zé Pedro Andrade made a huge save. In the 35th minute Kauan Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro López saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iker Ekhi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zé Pedro Andrade firmly grabbed it by the left post. Avellaneda FC's Alessandro López played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yao Bing in the 44th minute of play.

He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Alessandro López. Lionel Escalona hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The Circulo Deportivo players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Avellaneda FC from taking control.
