The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Hotz got free with Alessandro López in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iker Ekhi in the 15th minute of play forced Real Vencedor FC's goalkeeper Vladimiro Hitzeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Avellaneda FC's Lionel Escalona to fire away a dangerous shot which Vladimiro Hitzeder despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Hotz in the 19th minute of play forced Avellaneda FC's goalkeeper Alessandro López to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Avellaneda FC's Alessandro López proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Avellaneda FC from getting a goal against them. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardo Hotz made a kick off. A collision led to Avellaneda FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Edgardo Silvanito hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Avellaneda FC defense, Dumitru Doga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alessandro López. The Avellaneda FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alessandro López should have stopped the shot.
