After a defensive mix-up in Chaján's zone, Enis Dersu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomiro Sindo came out of the goal and Enis Dersu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Melquiades Blanco to make the kick off. In the 69th match minute, Chaján was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Sabóia to maneuver through the defense. DONPATO's Benedito de Sousa was substituted for Enis Dersu. Baldomiro Sindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedito de Sousa in the 72nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benedito de Sousa in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomiro Sindo saved Chaján from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Melquiades Blanco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alkan Soysaltürk was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Chaján's Constantin Arnăutu got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. DONPATO's supporters rose to their feet, but Desiderio Hitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomiro Sindo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The DONPATO players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
