Rosario Central FC's Emiliano Martínez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Rosario Central FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Rosario Central FC's Emiliano Martínez got control of the ball when Eloy Alvarez tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th minute Maximiliano Frascuelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Bernad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosario Central FC's Emiliano Martínez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Gombal in the 17th minute of play. Răzvan Voinea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ismael Bernad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 27th minute, FMArgentina's Eloy Alvarez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emiliano Martínez. Emiliano Martínez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The corner ended in Humberto Cisco almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rosario Central FC's Emiliano Martínez did a great save. The crowd rose to their feet as Moises Gombal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emiliano Martínez. That made the score 2-0 in the 36 minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, FMArgentina's goal looked a bit too open when Romário Gol came free, but Ismael Bernad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ismael Bernad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Solari in the 46th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Gombal in the 47th minute of play forced Rosario Central FC's goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emiliano Martínez came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by FMArgentina's Moises Gombal. But to his dismay, Moises Gombal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Pablo Solari made the kick off in the second half. Ismael Bernad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Răzvan Voinea in the 53rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Răzvan Voinea got free with Ismael Bernad in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cipriano Belarmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Martínez having to interfere. A collision led to Rosario Central FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Nestor Gaxan hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Alvarez in the 64th minute of play forced Rosario Central FC's goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FMArgentina's Eloy Alvarez got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute Eloy Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Martínez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, FMArgentina's Paolo Herensuge nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emiliano Martínez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 76th minute, Tomás Ilixo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ismael Bernad. The goal made the score 4-1. Rosario Central FC's Emiliano Martínez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Alvarez in the 87th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rosario Central FC's Ulises Rojelio got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute Moises Gombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Martínez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emiliano Martínez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Alvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Casimiro Arce got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emiliano Martínez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FMArgentina fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rosario Central FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
