The audience was convinced that Leopoldo Ladio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Placido Ignado was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. In the 12th minute, Mario Emmanuel fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 19th match minute, Dale bomba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Tristan to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Mario Emmanuel notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Dale bomba's Placido Ignado. Placido Ignado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mario Emmanuel in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Placido Ignado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Placido Ignado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Emmanuel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dale bomba's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mario Emmanuel was slow to take the kick. During this time Hydra's players had a chance to rest. After 32 played minutes Hydra got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Arruabarrena. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jimeno Izotz made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Damian Clementi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dale bomba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hydra the free kick. After a rather tough play, Dale bomba's Damian Clementi got a free kick in the 51st minute. The supporters of Hydra booed when Dale bomba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juliusz Bialakowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute Mario Emmanuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Ignado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Hydra's Orlando Chepe got control of the ball when Jimeno Izotz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Dale bomba's zone, Ruben Reyes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Placido Ignado came out of the goal and Ruben Reyes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Placido Ignado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Emmanuel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Placido Ignado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Ladio, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Placido Ignado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Emmanuel in the 75th minute of play. Placido Ignado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Emmanuel in the 78th minute of the match. Jimeno Izotz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Orlando Chepe made a huge save. Everardo Tristan hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Hydra's Camilo Caradaro was substituted for Ruben Reyes. Hydra's Domingos Taurino was substituted for David Beckham. The Dale bomba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Placido Ignado should have stopped the shot. Dale bomba's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
