Los Gatos Rojos's Gustavo López got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The tension between the Los Gatos Rojos and the ALFONSO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gogo Havier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Stamate in the 43rd minute of play forced Los Gatos Rojos's goalkeeper Mariusz Koperski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.
