Magno Star's Drew Knight played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Ruy in the 37th minute of play. Maximino Ruy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Magno Star getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Mariano Ritchie hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The player immediately received a yellow card. 50 minutes into the game, one of Magno Star:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Drew Knight had in the 51stth minute some difficulties stopping Maximino Ruy's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Drew Knight took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Ruy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 54 minutes Magno Star's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Juanito Azulay who took care of the corner kick. In the 55th minute ATLETICO MENDOZA were awarded a corner. Juanito Azulay went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Lucas Haimar heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximino Ruy in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Drew Knight saved Magno Star from getting behind. 59 minutes into the match, ATLETICO MENDOZA's goal looked a bit too open when Harnek Agrawal came free, but Václav Filipi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Maximino Ruy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Drew Knight made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Maximino Ruy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Drew Knight made a huge save.
