Shi Jing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Travieso, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute Gert Dahlqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shi Jing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximo Lesardo in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Shi Jing saved Cambaceres from getting behind. Shi Jing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gert Dahlqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the game, Per-Åke Bergsten recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rolando Favila. Per-Åke Bergsten showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 42nd minute Maximo Lesardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shi Jing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shi Jing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Travieso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Per-Åke Bergsten kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Lesardo in the 46th minute of play forced Cambaceres's goalkeeper Shi Jing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

With a little luck, Cambaceres's Shi Jing got control of the ball when Gert Dahlqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 74 minutes, Gert Dahlqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independiente de América's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gert Dahlqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miguel Boni kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute Ariel Rutenio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Favila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Favila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sadil Mané, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Sadil Mané took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Favila. In the 90th minute of the match, Gert Dahlqvist got a very nice opportunity to score, but Shi Jing was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Rolando Favila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Rutenio, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Maximo Lesardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Shi Jing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
