Magno Star's Alfredo Valiente was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sergio Rochet in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 38 minutes into the match, Magno Star's goal looked a bit too open when Helge Pihlberg came free, but Drew Knight reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 minutes Magno Star's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mehmet Akif Yersel who took care of the corner kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
