In the 13th minute Gaston Loiola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Urtungo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gervasio Urtungo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Loiola in the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th match minute, Goldey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Generoso Gaur to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the game, Maximo Ishmael cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gervasio Urtungo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joaquin George in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gervasio Urtungo saved Goldey from getting behind. Generoso Araoz charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Generoso Araoz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th minute, Generoso Araoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 23 minutes, Olle Skott managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DyJ Campeón Sudamericana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olle Skott was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th match minute, Goldey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Mendez to maneuver through the defense. Gervasio Urtungo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin George, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 34th minute, Joaquin George ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gervasio Urtungo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Montrel in the 38th minute of play forced Goldey's goalkeeper Gervasio Urtungo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Maximo Ishmael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Urtungo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42ndth minute of the game Joaquin George who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Goldey's Gervasio Urtungo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gervasio Urtungo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Ishmael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the game, Olle Skott cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Gervasio Urtungo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joaquin George stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 63 minutes into the match, Goldey's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin George came free, but Gervasio Urtungo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 65th minute of the match Generoso Araoz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Generoso Araoz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Generoso Araoz kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Olle Skott's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Gervasio Urtungo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jim Håkansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Milio having to interfere. Maximo Ishmael received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gervasio Urtungo came out and tried to block the shot, but Maximo Ishmael slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 73rd minute. If Olle Skott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gervasio Urtungo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Ishmael in the 78th minute of the match. In the 80thth minute of the game Maximo Ishmael who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Goldey's Gervasio Urtungo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Joaquin George could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Gervasio Urtungo however easily saved by the left post. In the 82nd minute, Maximo Ishmael left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DyJ Campeón Sudamericana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Arturo Kelemen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 91 minutes into the game, Gaston Loiola recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gervasio Urtungo. Gaston Loiola showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. In the last second Gervasio Urtungo throw himself and got hold of the ball when Arturo Kelemen in the 94thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Gervasio Urtungo had great luck who in the 97thth minute grab hold of the ball when Arturo Kelemen from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When the final whistle sounded DyJ Campeón Sudamericana left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Goldey.
