Kim-André van der Schans came out of the goal and Anselmo Iturri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC defense, Anselmo Iturri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kim-André van der Schans. The Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kim-André van der Schans should have stopped the shot. In the 27thth minute of the game Anselmo Iturri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC's Kim-André van der Schans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Gavino Iratxo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kiev FC the free kick. Kim-André van der Schans made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Antonio Mutafchiev sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anselmo Iturri in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kim-André van der Schans saved Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC from getting behind. Kiev FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
