The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remzi Oruz in the 4th minute of play forced Goldey's goalkeeper Gervasio Urtungo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Goldey's Mala Famer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 18th match minute, Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Jerardo to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Lucas Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goldey's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Lucas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kim-André van der Schans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 22 minutes into the match, Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mala Famer came free, but Kim-André van der Schans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arsenio Quico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aldo Tono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Gervasio Urtungo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gervasio Urtungo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remzi Oruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Honorio Geleberto hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Remzi Oruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Jim Håkansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goldey's supporters rose to their feet, but Jim Håkansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kim-André van der Schans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 81 minutes, Remzi Oruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remzi Oruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saverio Chabier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kim-André van der Schans having to interfere. Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC's Remzi Oruz got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Goldey fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
