Chukwualuka Okaka Chuka was slow to take the kick. During this time Fleetwood Town's players had a chance to rest. Chukwualuka Okaka Chuka made a great header on Fleetwood Town's corner, it was just that Kiev FC's Cirilo Frederico managed to reach the ball for a save. Cristian Mateo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Iturri, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Justino Eusko kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cirilo Frederico. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Anselmo Iturri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Mateo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Fleetwood Town's Justino Eusko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cirilo Frederico made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Cirilo Frederico made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Rick Shaw sent off a good shot on target. Cirilo Frederico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bob Geldof, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. But to his dismay, Oğuzer Saye quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kiev FC's goalkeeper Cirilo Frederico, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Kiev FC's Cirilo Frederico got control of the ball when Rick Shaw tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Bob Geldof made the kick off in the second half. Benny Stahlschmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Cristian Mateo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cirilo Frederico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oğuzer Saye, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Cirilo Frederico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob Geldof in the 57th minute of play. Cirilo Frederico came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Fleetwood Town's Bob Geldof. But to his dismay, Bob Geldof quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Cirilo Frederico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rick Shaw in the 64th minute of play. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fleetwood Town's goalkeeper Cristian Mateo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 76th minute of the match Kiev FC got a corner. Fleetwood Town's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antonio Mutafchiev ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bob Geldof fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirilo Frederico having to interfere. Cirilo Frederico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Eusko in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Iturri in the 84th minute of play forced Fleetwood Town's goalkeeper Cristian Mateo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anselmo Iturri scored 4-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristian Mateo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristian Mateo was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Erubiel Ramond capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Erubiel Ramond really showed his touch with that goal: 4-3.
