It was a well-played corner which Petr Vosáhlo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Carlos Balendin made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Niclas Füllkrug sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Seclantas AFC's John-David Lee got a free kick in the 32nd minute. AZURDUY F.C. were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Seclantas AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Károly Bogdán took the corner. After taking down the ball on AZURDUY F.C.'s corner Károly Bogdán fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Carlos Balendin quite easily take care of the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Leonardo Oliverio threw the ball into play from the sideline. AZURDUY F.C.'s Petr Vosáhlo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tom Hermansson in the 84th minute of play forced Seclantas AFC's goalkeeper Carlos Balendin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Seclantas AFC were furious when Hélio Neto was red carded, 90 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests.
