Niclas Füllkrug fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Frances having to interfere. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by AZURDUY F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bertil Brodin was slow to take the kick. During this time CRIMINAL MAMBO's players had a chance to rest. In the 28th minute, Birdal Eren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodosio Iigo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carmelo Marz in the 31st minute. A collision led to AZURDUY F.C. getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Manuel Valerio hit a great ball. In the 45th minute of the game Elpidio Laurgain made a throw-in which Tom Hermansson played forward. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

52 minutes into the match, CRIMINAL MAMBO's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Hermansson came free, but Ruperto Frances reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute Carmelo Marz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Iigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CRIMINAL MAMBO made a substitution. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see CRIMINAL MAMBO lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
