Petr Školník made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Cositorto in the 16th minute of play. After 18 minutes Yrigoyen.F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Julian Hulberto who took care of the corner kick. Tiburcio Tino hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Diego Milito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute, Tiburcio Tino made a precise shot to the right of Petr Školník. Yrigoyen.F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 32nd minute Leonardo Cositorto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Školník saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Diego Milito reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eriberto Manilan. The goal made the score 2-1. The supporters of A.F Cuervos Azulgranas booed when Yrigoyen.F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Romelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's goalkeeper Eriberto Manilan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Milito. Yrigoyen.F.C's Matías Suárez was substituted for Diego Milito. Yrigoyen.F.C's attentive Nico Bertolo managed to snatch the ball when Julian Hulberto made a throw-in in the 76th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Matías Suárez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eriberto Manilan was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Yrigoyen.F.C had won after a very even match.
