The supporters of Capillitas booed when Yrigoyen.F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuca Siqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Capillitas's goalkeeper Feliberto Ferdinand, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Petr Školník showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Cristofor, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Sabin Ţintea kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Diego Milito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yrigoyen.F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6.

In the 52nd minute Yrigoyen.F.C were awarded a corner. Aurelio Feliz went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Aurelio Feliz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Capillitas's Feliberto Ferdinand did a great save. In the 54th match minute, Capillitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gipuzkoa to maneuver through the defense. Diego Milito might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Feliberto Ferdinand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diego Milito ran back to his position shaking his head. 68 minutes into the match, Capillitas's goalkeeper Feliberto Ferdinand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Milito. After some careless play in the Capillitas defense, Diego Milito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Feliberto Ferdinand. The Capillitas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Feliberto Ferdinand should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Milito in the 82nd minute of play forced Capillitas's goalkeeper Feliberto Ferdinand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feliberto Ferdinand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Milito's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. 86 minutes into the game, Yrigoyen.F.C's Diego Milito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Feliberto Ferdinand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. In the 90th minute, Diego Milito reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Feliberto Ferdinand. The goal made the score 0-12. 94 minutes into the match, Yrigoyen.F.C's Diego Milito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Feliberto Ferdinand narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Yrigoyen.F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Capillitas.
