In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Seclantas AFC's goalkeeper Carlos Balendin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Seclantas AFC defense, Martin Rodriguez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Balendin. The Seclantas AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Balendin should have stopped the shot. 95 minutes into the game, Martin Rodriguez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlos Balendin. Martin Rodriguez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5.
