The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 12thth minute of the game Mihail Pânzaru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pupis F.C's Baldomiro Justin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Remigio Jakue might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Loren Prats. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Remigio Jakue ran back to his position shaking his head. 21 minutes into the game, Remigio Jakue cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Loren Prats was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alfred Zbikowski hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Loren Prats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Jakue in the 36th minute of play. Ronald Carrere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Loren Prats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute Remigio Jakue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loren Prats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amador Vachon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Baldomiro Justin made a huge save. Pupis F.C's Baldomiro Justin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihail Pânzaru in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Mihail Pânzaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mihail Pânzaru made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, 沈森升 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pupis F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pegaso the free kick. The supporters of Pegaso booed when Pupis F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. 沈森升 didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Pupis F.C's Cazimir Cioroianu got a free kick in the 56th minute. 巩彬林 kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Pupis F.C's Baldomiro Justin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihail Pânzaru in the 60th minute of play. Remigio Jakue sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pegaso's Delmar Tabor was substituted for Arnoldo Tibalt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihail Pânzaru in the 69th minute of play forced Pupis F.C's goalkeeper Baldomiro Justin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Pegaso's Mihail Pânzaru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baldomiro Justin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Baldomiro Justin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jairo Valery went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Amador Vachon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Pupis F.C defense, Mihail Pânzaru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baldomiro Justin. The Pupis F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomiro Justin should have stopped the shot. Baldomiro Justin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihail Pânzaru in the 83rd minute of play. Mihail Pânzaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Loren Prats made an important save on a dangerous shot by Remigio Jakue in the 91st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wally Samuel during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Wally Samuel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pegaso fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pupis F.C had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
