In the 31st minute Christos Triantafyllou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Segio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angel Frantzes kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Jonathan Palmquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Cresitobalo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leukothoe Sakelaris charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leukothoe Sakelaris the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cuchilla FC booed when Granate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leukothoe Sakelaris didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Segio made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Christos Triantafyllou sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd minute, Isaias Cresitobalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Palmquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Isaias Cresitobalo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 50th minute of the match, but Jonathan Palmquist made a huge save. Fernando Segio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Kirby in the 51st minute of play. With an all-out effort, Cuchilla FC's Jonathan Palmquist threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Anacleto Ibon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Granate's Jonathan Palmquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Cresitobalo in the 57th minute of play. After 58 played minutes Granate got a freekick which was hit by Donato Lekubegi. Cuchilla FC's Sertel Cevizoğlu was substituted for Lisandro López. In the 59th match minute, Granate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Lekubegi to maneuver through the defense. Isaias Cresitobalo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Jonathan Palmquist made a huge save. 62 minutes into the match, Granate's goalkeeper Jonathan Palmquist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michel Salgado. In the 67th minute, Michel Salgado made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Palmquist. Granate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Sertel Cevizoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Palmquist having to interfere. Jonathan Palmquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Ibon in the 71st minute of the match. The long shot by Ismael Thomas in the 72nd minute really tested Jonathan Palmquist's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 73 minutes, Syaiful Abidin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Granate and the Cuchilla FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd minute, Syaiful Abidin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Granate's Jonathan Palmquist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Granate from getting a goal against them. Granate's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Anacleto Ibon scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Palmquist, making the score, 1-3. After a rather tough play, Granate's Robert Kirby got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute Michel Salgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Palmquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Palmquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Cuchilla FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Bernardino Normando hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Cuchilla FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Granate.
