Baldomero Matthew charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baldomero Matthew the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, General Paz Juniors's Fernandão Vides got control of the ball when German Unax tried to sneak it across the goal line. German Unax who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Fernandão Vides when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
