The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Tsubasa in the 6th minute of play forced General Paz Juniors's goalkeeper Fernandão Vides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CBA Nankatsu FC's Cleto Quirze proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save CBA Nankatsu FC from getting a goal against them. When Nick Kant fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CBA Nankatsu FC's protests and gave Nick Kant a yellow card for diving instead. 21 minutes into the match, Nechifor Hanganu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cleto Quirze, 1-0. When Eulalio Lizardi came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the CBA Nankatsu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eulalio Lizardi couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by General Paz Juniors's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bernard Szpakowski was slow to take the kick. During this time CBA Nankatsu FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Esteve Emenon almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but General Paz Juniors's Fernandão Vides did a great save. Fernandão Vides came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by CBA Nankatsu FC's Humberto Eneko. But to his dismay, Humberto Eneko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Humberto Eneko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandão Vides having to interfere. Humberto Eneko took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernandão Vides. Fernandão Vides dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oliver Tsubasa made a kick off. Eulalio Lizardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fernandão Vides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Lizardi in the 55th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on CBA Nankatsu FC's corner Oliver Tsubasa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fernandão Vides quite easily take care of the ball. In the 60th minute Silvestre Maiorga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Quirze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteve Emenon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernandão Vides having to make a save. Esteve Emenon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the last second Fernandão Vides throw himself and got hold of the ball when Oliver Tsubasa in the 71stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 72ndth minute of the game Oliver Tsubasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but General Paz Juniors's Fernandão Vides was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Gagriel in the 74th minute of play forced General Paz Juniors's goalkeeper Fernandão Vides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of CBA Nankatsu FC booed when General Paz Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Orlin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernandão Vides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Gagriel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to CBA Nankatsu FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Eulalio Lizardi hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sun Lee in the 88th minute of play forced CBA Nankatsu FC's goalkeeper Cleto Quirze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oliver Tsubasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandão Vides having to interfere. Fernandão Vides made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Laureano Gagriel sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th minute, CBA Nankatsu FC's Humberto Eneko dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind General Paz Juniors's goalkeeper Fernandão Vides, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
