In the 5th minute, Daniël Overmars hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edelmiro Rencio came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Re Loco's Epifanio Gurutz. But to his dismay, Epifanio Gurutz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Narciso Sauveur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liviu Apăvăloaie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Daniël Overmars fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MAC4LAN RB's protests and gave Daniël Overmars a yellow card for diving instead. Daniël Overmars kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Liviu Apăvăloaie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Sauveur having to interfere. In the 19th minute Valgarð Hákonsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Sauveur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Eugenio Gasteiz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Edelmiro Rencio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 26 minutes into the game, Liviu Apăvăloaie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Narciso Sauveur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 30 minutes into the game, Liviu Apăvăloaie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Narciso Sauveur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Narciso Sauveur came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by MAC4LAN RB's Jef Batenburg. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Jef Batenburg put it in 2-4 from a short distance just to the right of Narciso Sauveur. Narciso Sauveur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liviu Apăvăloaie in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Hernan Crescencio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Narciso Sauveur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Jef Batenburg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half MAC4LAN RB were leading 2-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Crescencio in the 52nd minute of play forced Re Loco's goalkeeper Narciso Sauveur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute, Valgarð Hákonsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the match, Re Loco's goalkeeper Narciso Sauveur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hernan Crescencio. After 56 minutes, Jef Batenburg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MAC4LAN RB and the Re Loco players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jef Batenburg hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Edelmiro Rencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Gasteiz in the 62nd minute of the match. Valgarð Hákonsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Narciso Sauveur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. MAC4LAN RB's Liviu Apăvăloaie was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 65th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Narciso Sauveur was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jef Batenburg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-7 in the 73 minute of play. Narciso Sauveur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liviu Apăvăloaie in the 81st minute of the match. MAC4LAN RB's Jens Engbers was substituted for Valgarð Hákonsson. After having played for 88 minutes, Liviu Apăvăloaie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MAC4LAN RB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Liviu Apăvăloaie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of MAC4LAN RB booed when Re Loco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Cordero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 91st play minutes Liviu Apăvăloaie shot 2-8, a short shot which went by Narciso Sauveur and just under the crossbar into goal. When the final whistle sounded MAC4LAN RB left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Re Loco.
