The audience was convinced that Andres Cambiasso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Narciso Sauveur was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Re Loco's Narciso Sauveur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Cambiasso in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Cambiasso in the 20th minute of play forced Re Loco's goalkeeper Narciso Sauveur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marciano Cambiasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Gurutz in the 24th minute of play forced BAIRES's goalkeeper Anibal Cambiasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Genaro Cambiasso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Epifanio Gurutz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 29th minute. Re Loco's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Narciso Sauveur came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by BAIRES's Andres Cambiasso. But to his dismay, Andres Cambiasso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 35 minutes, Andres Cambiasso made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Re Loco's Narciso Sauveur tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Narciso Sauveur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Cambiasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Re Loco's zone, Andres Cambiasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narciso Sauveur came out of the goal and Andres Cambiasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. BAIRES's Genaro Cambiasso got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute of the match Gabriel Duarte shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Narciso Sauveur showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andres Cambiasso to make the kick off. Andres Cambiasso in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Narciso Sauveur, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Re Loco's Narciso Sauveur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Re Loco from getting a goal against them. 59 minutes into the match, Joaquin Cambiasso notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Re Loco's Narciso Sauveur. Narciso Sauveur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andres Cambiasso in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narciso Sauveur saved Re Loco from getting behind. Re Loco's Narciso Sauveur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Cambiasso in the 63rd minute of play. Andres Cambiasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Narciso Sauveur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, BAIRES's Joaquin Cambiasso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Narciso Sauveur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. 68 minutes into the match, Re Loco's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Cambiasso came free, but Narciso Sauveur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. BAIRES's Joaquin Cambiasso got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andres Cambiasso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Narciso Sauveur when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Joaquin Cambiasso took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Narciso Sauveur. Narciso Sauveur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Marciano Cambiasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. BAIRES played a much better game than Re Loco and deserved their victory. The Re Loco players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
