Emilio Guifre came out of the goal and Anastasio Hori tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Falcor Athletic Club's Emilio Guifre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Falcor Athletic Club from getting a goal against them. After 6 minutes, David Elorri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Falcor Athletic Club and the AVE FENIX players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 6 played minutes Falcor Athletic Club got a freekick which was hit by David Elorri. After 13 played minutes AVE FENIX got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Hori. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Carmelo Ederono managed to get in a good position for a shot. Falcor Athletic Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Carmelo Ederono was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cosme Ihintza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to AVE FENIX getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Ladislao Lobo hit a great ball. Carmelo Ederono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carmelo Ederono struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Cosme Ihintza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Falcor Athletic Club. AVE FENIX's Ladislao Lobo got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carmelo Ederono in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cosme Ihintza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Falcor Athletic Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Anastasio Hori scored to the left of an out of position Emilio Guifre, making the score, 1-0. Apolo Belarmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Cosme Ihintza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when German Tartalo made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to AVE FENIX getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Placido Erasto hit a great ball. When Anastasio Hori came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the AVE FENIX fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anastasio Hori couldn't finish the play. 77 minutes into the game, Anastasio Hori was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AVE FENIX's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Falcor Athletic Club the free kick. A collision led to AVE FENIX getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Anastasio Hori hit a great ball. Primitivo Haritzeder hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Cosme Ihintza was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Apolo Belarmo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enrique Gutierrez during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Falcor Athletic Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AVE FENIX:s goal. Ladislao Lobo scored 3-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emilio Guifre, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 93 minutes into the game, AVE FENIX's German Tartalo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emilio Guifre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AVE FENIX had played much better football throughout.
