With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manos Uchiha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hermengildo Galsino's late challenge caught a 1984 Castelli Futbol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, 1984 Castelli Futbol's Hermengildo Etxeberri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Virgil Găman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Hermengildo Etxeberri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

A.J. Adams took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manos Uchiha. Manos Uchiha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 61st minute, A.J. Adams got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manos Uchiha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guy Georges in the 67th minute. Froilan Ubarna hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. A.J. Adams recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A.J. Adams received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Manos Uchiha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, 1984 Castelli Futbol's Manos Uchiha got control of the ball when Felix Conrao tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, LOS GALACTICOS's Felix Conrao got a free kick in the 88th minute. 93 minutes into the game, LOS GALACTICOS's Guy Georges nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manos Uchiha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched LOS GALACTICOS eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
