Adams quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of AVE FENIX:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of LOS GALACTICOS:s goal. In the 8th minute there was a penalty for LOS GALACTICOS. A.J. Adams stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cosme Ihintza. 0-2. The audience was convinced that A.J. Adams's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cosme Ihintza was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. 17 minutes into the match, A.J. Adams had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cosme Ihintza. AVE FENIX's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that A.J. Adams was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 19 minutes into the match, LOS GALACTICOS's Arturo Herauso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cosme Ihintza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cosme Ihintza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from A.J. Adams in the 22nd minute of the match. The supporters of AVE FENIX booed when LOS GALACTICOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Bermudo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When LOS GALACTICOS's A.J. Adams in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The LOS GALACTICOS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. With an all-out effort, AVE FENIX's Virgil Găman threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Anastasio Hori, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 37 minutes of play, AVE FENIX's Anastasio Hori made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Virgil Găman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hermengildo Galsino kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match.

Guy Georges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Cosme Ihintza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 53rd minute German Tartalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgil Găman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A.J. Adamss short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Cosme Ihintza to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, AVE FENIX's Vicente Garaona got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Ladislao Lobo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gavino Tanio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Cosme Ihintza made a huge save. Bernardo Beltran hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Cosme Ihintza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from A.J. Adams in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Bernardo Beltran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cosme Ihintza was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. With a little luck, AVE FENIX's Cosme Ihintza got control of the ball when Guy Georges tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to AVE FENIX getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Placido Erasto hit a great ball. Virgil Găman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from German Tartalo in the 81st minute of the match. Ladislao Lobo hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Cosme Ihintza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from A.J. Adams in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by A.J. Adams in the 85th minute of play forced AVE FENIX's goalkeeper Cosme Ihintza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, German Tartalo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Virgil Găman. LOS GALACTICOS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that German Tartalo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. 90 minutes into the match, LOS GALACTICOS's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasio Hori came free, but Virgil Găman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st match minute, AVE FENIX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Erasto to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by A.J. Adams in the 93rd minute of play forced AVE FENIX's goalkeeper Cosme Ihintza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cosme Ihintza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from A.J. Adams in the 96th minute of the match. Cosme Ihintza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from A.J. Adams, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
