An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Hori in the 28th minute of play forced INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Romulo Gelacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bartolo Gabrio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Placido Erasto was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Bartolo Gabrio struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Cosme Ihintza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB. In the 74th match minute, AVE FENIX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Lizbeth to maneuver through the defense. Petros Mousa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cosme Ihintza firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 75 played minutes AVE FENIX got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Hori. Petros Mousa succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 77th playminute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Cosme Ihintza managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Bartolo Gabrio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Boni Yarman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cosme Ihintza. That made the score 0-7 in the 91 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boni Yarman in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cosme Ihintza saved AVE FENIX from getting behind. When the match was over INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AVE FENIX throughout the match.
