Pascual Bermudez was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ulises Evangelista. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldomero Oriche got free with Pascual Bermudez in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, AYACUCHO FUTBOL CLUB's Cayetano Fagildo got a free kick in the 27th minute. Daniel Bazáns short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Pascual Bermudez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 29th minute Pompiliu Corcoveanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Oriche in the 31st minute of play forced AYACUCHO FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Pascual Bermudez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ulises Evangelista in the 32nd minute. The corner ended in Ulises Evangelista almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AYACUCHO FUTBOL CLUB's Pascual Bermudez did a great save. Ulises Evangelista, 48 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

SAN MARTIN MZA's corner Hugo Ariel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pascual Bermudez quite easily take care of the ball. Javier Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Bautista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Baldomero Oriche's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pascual Bermudez was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, C.A. SAN MARTIN MZA's Felix Kroos got a free kick in the 95th minute.
