The corner was taken by Paul Dybala in the 8th minute. Cristo Basajaun's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Rogelio Txatxu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rogelio Txatxu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristo Basajaun showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Rogelio Txatxu came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A.Independiente's Cristo Basajaun. But to his dismay, Cristo Basajaun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After 26 minutes, Placido Domiku mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the el Tambero F.C and the C.A.Independiente players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th match minute, el Tambero F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Domiku to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute of the match, Indiana Jones tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rogelio Txatxu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Cristo Basajaun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind el Tambero F.C's goalkeeper Rogelio Txatxu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Indiana Jones in the 41st minute of play forced el Tambero F.C's goalkeeper Rogelio Txatxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd match minute, C.A.Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Indiana Jones to maneuver through the defense. Ciriaco Macias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Quintan in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Cavalcante in the 47th minute of play forced C.A.Independiente's goalkeeper Ciriaco Macias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paul Dybala was the one to do the kick off. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind el Tambero F.C's goalkeeper Rogelio Txatxu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. C.A.Independiente's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gavril Bosioc in the 62nd minute. The corner led to C.A.Independiente's Heigo Luiga getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Ricardo Quintan's late challenge caught a C.A.Independiente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Quintan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th minute, Ricardo Quintan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 played minutes el Tambero F.C got a freekick which was hit by Placido Domiku. Gavril Bosioc struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Rogelio Txatxu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.Independiente. The supporters of el Tambero F.C booed when C.A.Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heigo Luiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogelio Txatxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Basajaun in the 75th minute of the match. After 78 played minutes C.A.Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Heigo Luiga. In the 79th minute Cláudio Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Macias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogelio Txatxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Indiana Jones, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After a rather tough play, el Tambero F.C's Pedro Blanco got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute, Pedro Blanco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Baumar hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
