The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Coky Batola in the 3rd minute of play forced Zaeta Roja's goalkeeper Pete Luchin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alessandro Valle got free with David Barbosa in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 16 played minutes Falcon Club got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Elodio. After a defensive mix-up in Falcon Club's zone, Lukasz Ulbricht stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Barbosa came out of the goal and Lukasz Ulbricht tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute Gregory Neal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zaeta Roja's Lukasz Ulbricht got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mario Leobardo kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Falcon Club's Coky Batola managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Francisco Osasun in the 30 minute of the game. David Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Valle in the 31st minute of play. Daniel Benino hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Falcon Club's David Barbosa got control of the ball when Alessandro Valle tried to sneak it across the goal line. David Barbosa made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Mario Leobardo sent off a good shot on target. After 44 played minutes Falcon Club got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Benino. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Leandro Daunte put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of David Barbosa. Alessandro Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Barbosa having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Falcon Club's Javier Pinola got a free kick in the 57th minute.
