With a couple of smart ball manuevers Placido Patxi in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ovidio Sal saved Punta Alvear from getting behind. Ovidio Sal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Placido Patxi's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Espinillo's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Frichoso came free, but Celso Natanael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Punta Alvear's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ezequiel Onbera was slow to take the kick. During this time Espinillo's players had a chance to rest. Punta Alvear's Ovidio Sal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Patxi in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Punta Alvear's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ezequiel Onbera was slow to take the kick. During this time Espinillo's players had a chance to rest. Punta Alvear's Ovidio Sal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Punta Alvear from getting a goal against them. Placido Patxi in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ovidio Sal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Espinillo's Placido Patxi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 29th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Inocencio Frichoso was the one to do the kick off. Jacinto Eleazar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Celso Natanael came out and tried to block the shot, but Jacinto Eleazar slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 51st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Placido Patxi in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ovidio Sal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 55 minutes, Placido Patxi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espinillo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Placido Patxi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Punta Alvear's Bogdan Gopov got a free kick in the 61st minute. 62 minutes into the match, Espinillo's Placido Patxi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ovidio Sal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Espinillo's Placido Patxi in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Celso Natanael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inocencio Frichoso in the 76th minute of the match. Inocencio Frichoso made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 79thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Celso Natanael would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 80th minute Punta Alvear were awarded a corner. Jacinto Eleazar went to the cornerflag to take it. Punta Alvear's Ovidio Sal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Patxi in the 82nd minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Punta Alvear's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Onbera came free, but Ovidio Sal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Espinillo's Celso Natanael proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Espinillo from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Espinillo booed when Punta Alvear was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Gergori didn't get a good kick on the ball. Punta Alvear were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
