In the 12thth minute of the game Gavino Rami who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Berutti FC's Bruno Macario was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gavino Rami in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Macario prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 16 minutes into the match, Berutti FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Rami came free, but Bruno Macario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Magallanes's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Raebert came free, but Jimeno Nevada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Sebastian Lobo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Club Atlético Magallanes's goalie and right to Niceto Aznaro. Club Atlético Magallanes's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taci Argün in the 28th minute of play forced Berutti FC's goalkeeper Bruno Macario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was a well-played corner which Taci Argün managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. A collision led to Club Atlético Magallanes getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Ruperto Salvadore hit a great ball. If Sebastian Lobo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jimeno Nevada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edelmiro Cheche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Berutti FC's zone, Gavino Rami stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Macario came out of the goal and Gavino Rami tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Taci Argün got free in front of the goal in the 40th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Bruno Macario was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After having played for 43 minutes, Gavino Rami managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Magallanes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gavino Rami was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Jimeno Nevada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Cheche in the 55th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruperto Salvadore got free with Bruno Macario in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Jan Sierocki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Macario was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Jan Sierocki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Macario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Sierocki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Jan Sierocki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Magallanes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 96th match minute, Berutti FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Restu to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute, Jan Sierocki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Macario was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club Atlético Magallanes walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
