Laprida's Denis Peru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by James Madison in the 23rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arsenio Maria in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denis Peru saved Laprida from getting behind. In the 25th match minute, Laprida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Arotza to maneuver through the defense. Denis Peru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from James Madison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denis Peru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from James Madison in the 31st minute of the match. Denis Peru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Maria in the 35th minute of play. Ariel Ponc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Ibañez, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Villa Mitre City's goalkeeper Ariel Ponc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Denis Peru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Maria in the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Villa Mitre City made a substitution. Generoso Laurgain replaced Long Yuan Di. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Barnaba Karp made a kick off. With his leg Denis Peru managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Villa Mitre City's Mauricio Macías fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Villa Mitre City made a substitution. Norbert Huratiak replaced Urbano Mendiko. The throw-in from Ábel Pasqualini in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Villa Mitre City's James Madison. When Teodoro Celino came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Laprida fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Celino couldn't finish the play. A sloppy throw-in by Ábel Pasqualini in the 67th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Villa Mitre City's James Madison. Ariel Ponc came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Laprida's Teodoro Celino. But to his dismay, Teodoro Celino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 74 played minutes Villa Mitre City got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Macías. 76 minutes into the game, Laprida's Teodoro Celino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ariel Ponc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Thanks to some nice moves Mauricio Macías could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Denis Peru however easily saved by the left post. In the 85th minute Roberto Ibañez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Ponc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Cambranes kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Villa Mitre City were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Laprida's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dante Brion took the corner. The corner ended in Dante Brion almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Laprida's Denis Peru did a great save.
