The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Fulgencio Senen advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-1 in the 9th minute. Lionel-Andrés Messia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fulgencio Senen struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Higinio Firme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independiente. The audience was convinced that Fulgencio Senen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Higinio Firme was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. In the 17th minute of the match Independiente got a corner. Flores Arlt's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Massimo Ruggeri ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in 袁风奕 drilling the ball in to score 0-2 behind Flores Arlt's goalkeeper. Flores Arlt's Higinio Firme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lionel-Andrés Messia in the 20th minute of play. Independiente were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Flores Arlt's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Massimo Ruggeri took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Massimo Ruggeri got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Higinio Firme quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Flores Arlt's Higinio Firme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lionel-Andrés Messia in the 23rd minute of play. Higinio Firme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Senen in the 24th minute of the match. Celso Bizi hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Fulgencio Senen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Higinio Firme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fulgencio Senen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Flores Arlt's goalkeeper Higinio Firme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Flores Arlt's goal looked a bit too open when Lionel-Andrés Messia came free, but Higinio Firme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Fulgencio Senen put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Higinio Firme. After 42 minutes of play, Independiente's 袁风奕 made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Higinio Firme was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Independiente's Fulgencio Senen in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Flores Arlt's goalie prevented a goal. Independiente's Lionel-Andrés Messia got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Flores Arlt booed when Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Massimo Ruggeri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sabin Răchită was the one to do the kick off. 袁风奕 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flores Arlt's Higinio Firme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Senen in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to Flores Arlt getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Raul Abadia hit a great ball. Higinio Firme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Senen in the 55th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Higinio Firme successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sabin Răchită in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eddie Van Halen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, Independiente's Higinio Firme threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from 袁风奕, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Independiente made a substitution. Arif Egemen Ahsen replaced Celso Bizi. After having played for 66 minutes, 袁风奕 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but 袁风奕 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 67 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Senen. Flores Arlt's Higinio Firme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Flores Arlt from getting a goal against them. 袁风奕 scored 0-7 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Higinio Firme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 78th minute of the match Independiente got a corner. Flores Arlt's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lionel-Andrés Messia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Higinio Firme having to make a save. Independiente made a substitution. Efrain Teofilio replaced Gabirel Christbo. After a defensive mix-up in Flores Arlt's zone, 袁风奕 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Higinio Firme came out of the goal and 袁风奕 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sabin Răchită charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sabin Răchită the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 92 played minutes Flores Arlt got a freekick which was hit by Sabin Răchită. In the 93rd minute, Lionel-Andrés Messia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 96 minutes into the game, Fulgencio Senen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Higinio Firme was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Independiente played a much better game than Flores Arlt and deserved their victory. The Flores Arlt players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
