In the 23rd minute, Tadeo Ederono left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paunero fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 90th minute Kaj Skager shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Inguma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Paunero's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abel Krorby was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atletico Los Andes's players had a chance to rest. The Paunero players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
