Cachila got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Ishmael. Gustavo Hartz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fulgencio Senen's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Terri Moco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Eddie Van Halen made a huge save. A throw-in in the 28th minute of the game was made by Arso Kúrlev with Lionel-Andrés Messia as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 36 minutes into the match, Fulgencio Senen notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of A.A. Cachila's Gustavo Hartz. Gustavo Hartz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in A.A. Cachila's zone, Lionel-Andrés Messia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Hartz came out of the goal and Lionel-Andrés Messia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Independiente's Eddie Van Halen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Independiente from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd match minute, A.A. Cachila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Brun to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Terri Moco in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eddie Van Halen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A hard shot 52 in the game by Lionel-Andrés Messia from a close distance when the talented Gustavo Hartz managed to make a qualified save. A.A. Cachila's players were relieved. Terri Moco might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eddie Van Halen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Terri Moco ran back to his position shaking his head. 62 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Terri Moco came free, but Eddie Van Halen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eddie Van Halen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terri Moco in the 65th minute of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Terri Moco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.A. Cachila's supporters crossed their fingers, but Terri Moco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A.A. Cachila made a substitution. Federico Bernad replaced Terri Moco. A.A. Cachila made a substitution. Ulises Elia replaced Jonas Orlo. A.A. Cachila's Higinio Brun managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Massimo Ruggeri in the 77 minute of the game. Arif Egemen Ahsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Hartz having to interfere. Eddie Van Halen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Bernad in the 86th minute of play. Massimo Ruggeri made in the 94th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Fulgencio Senen. When the final whistle sounded Independiente left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than A.A. Cachila.
