Fausto Inko was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esteve Palben in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Fero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A sloppy throw-in by Gilberto van Beek in the 25th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Progreso Tres's Gelacio Casillas. If Esteve Palben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. EL FORTIN's Armando Fero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Palben in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Progreso Tres's Esteve Palben dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Armando Fero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Inko in the 39th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Progreso Tres's Esteve Palben sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Fero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Esteve Palben made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, EL FORTIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Chinto to maneuver through the defense. EL FORTIN's Armando Fero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Palben in the 55th minute of play. Esteve Palben sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 64th play minutes Esteve Palben shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Armando Fero and just under the crossbar into goal. Armando Fero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herminio Loren's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Armando Fero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herminio Loren, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Inocencio Oinatz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dida Mesquita in the 72nd minute. EL FORTIN's Armando Fero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Palben in the 74th minute of play. Heigo Hirv kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Ernesto Chinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 93 minutes, Herminio Loren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Progreso Tres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herminio Loren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. EL FORTIN's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
