In the 58th minute Hipolito Misael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Bortzaioriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Szymon Drebit managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shaila HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Szymon Drebit was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Costin Jecu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Rondeau AFC's Andreas Pirlo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fausto Bortzaioriz. That made the score 1-1 after 61 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Shaila HC's zone, Andreas Pirlo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Bortzaioriz came out of the goal and Andreas Pirlo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute, Andreas Pirlo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fausto Bortzaioriz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After a rather tough play, Shaila HC's Godofredo Abadie got a free kick in the 74th minute. Costin Jecu came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Shaila HC's Teo Selmo. But to his dismay, Teo Selmo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. With his leg Fausto Bortzaioriz managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Rondeau AFC's Andreas Pirlo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 83rd minute Juli Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costin Jecu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Shaila HC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Juan Pablo Sorin was slow to take the kick. During this time Rondeau AFC's players had a chance to rest. Rondeau AFC's Juan Pablo Sorin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fausto Bortzaioriz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 90th minute, Hipolito Misael left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rondeau AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. The Rondeau AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rondeau AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
