Isidro Gines could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Amado Jordão made a huge save. In the 13th minute Gilberto Nayely shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Verdun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmond Verdun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilberto Nayely's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. When Punk Fiction's Gilberto Nayely in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Errecaborda AFC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Gilberto Nayely sped through Errecaborda AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edmond Verdun. Punk Fiction's Amado Jordão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Rameriz in the 21st minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Punk Fiction's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Ado came free, but Amado Jordão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gilberto Nayely had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Nayely in the 31st minute of play forced Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmond Verdun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Nayely in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute Prospero Jerardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Jordão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Punk Fiction's Amado Jordão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Punk Fiction from getting a goal against them. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Punk Fiction's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Clemente Silviano was slow to take the kick. During this time Errecaborda AFC's players had a chance to rest. After the first half Punk Fiction were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Edmond Verdun was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gilberto Nayely showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 59 minute of play. In the 76th minute Isidro Gines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Jordão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Errecaborda AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 79th minute, Prospero Jerardo made a precise shot to the right of Amado Jordão. Punk Fiction's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pastor Ado in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amado Jordão saved Punk Fiction from getting behind. 86 minutes into the match, Errecaborda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Nayely came free, but Edmond Verdun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, Punk Fiction was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Feliz to maneuver through the defense. Errecaborda AFC made a substitution. Hipolito Neron replaced Miguel Savion. After some careless play in the Punk Fiction defense, Pastor Ado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amado Jordão. The Punk Fiction fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amado Jordão should have stopped the shot. The Errecaborda AFC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Punk Fiction to win.
