Orlando Lizardi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Tabor having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, C.A.Esparta's goalkeeper Mauricio Tabor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateo Messi. In the 20th match minute, Yofré AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Nisio to maneuver through the defense. Mauricio Tabor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Lizardi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anastasio Nuno's late challenge caught a Yofré AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anastasio Nuno helped the player get up and apologised. After 24 played minutes C.A.Esparta got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Nuno. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.A.Esparta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Primitivo Oihenarte was slow to take the kick. During this time Yofré AFC's players had a chance to rest. In the 32nd minute, Mateo Messi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yofré AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Venancio Cesario didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilberto Nofre went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After 38 played minutes Yofré AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Messi. Venancio Cesario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Nofre, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the game, Ernesto Poncio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Mauricio Tabor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The wind increased when Lino Arnau made the kick off in the second half. Hamílton de Lima hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Venancio Cesario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Nofre in the 52nd minute of play. In the 59th match minute, C.A.Esparta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Opilano to maneuver through the defense. Mauricio Tabor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primitivo Oihenarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauricio Tabor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Blasi in the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Ostargi in the 64th minute of play forced C.A.Esparta's goalkeeper Mauricio Tabor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nestor Honrio took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauricio Tabor. Mauricio Tabor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. 70 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when C.A.Esparta's Lino Arnau fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 72 minutes into the match, C.A.Esparta's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Lizardi came free, but Mauricio Tabor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolfo Silbestre's late challenge caught a Yofré AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adolfo Silbestre helped the player get up and apologised. Orlando Lizardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Orlando Lizardi scored 8-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauricio Tabor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mauricio Tabor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Messi in the 93rd minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Yofré AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
