Venancio Cesario was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Manuel Loren was a little too slow when Orlando Lizardi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 2-1. Orlando Lizardis short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Manuel Loren to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. João Carlos Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. František Balek lost his temper 46 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 45 minutes into the game, one of Volvio Moreno:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ernesto Poncio made the kick off in the second half. Manuel Loren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Venancio Cesario made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Godfredo Gau sent off a good shot on target. Manuel Loren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Lizardi, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Manuel Loren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Messi in the 94th minute of the match.
