DHD SRL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillerme Villafane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruno Sauveur took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oto Ööpik. DHD SRL's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gianluca Buffon made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Felipe Cucao sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th minute, Uriel Ferrer made a precise shot to the right of Oto Ööpik. DHD SRL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 22nd minute Bruno Sauveur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oto Ööpik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oto Ööpik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Sauveur in the 23rd minute of play. In the 27th minute Defensores de Lombroso were awarded a corner. Bruno Sauveur went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Bruno Sauveur almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DHD SRL's Oto Ööpik did a great save. Oto Ööpik came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores de Lombroso's Ubaldo Gelacio. But to his dismay, Ubaldo Gelacio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. DHD SRL's Oto Ööpik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 33rd minute of play. Oto Ööpik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Sauveur, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Gianluca Buffon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Cucao in the 37th minute. In the 38th match minute, DHD SRL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zdzislaw Lichniak to maneuver through the defense. Emilio Abascal hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Bruno Sauveur struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Oto Ööpik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores de Lombroso. The supporters of DHD SRL booed when Defensores de Lombroso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Raphael didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, DHD SRL's Guillerme Villafane tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bruno Sauveur made a kick off. In the 55th minute Felipe Cucao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluca Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute of the match DHD SRL got a corner. Defensores de Lombroso's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Guillerme Villafane ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Guillerme Villafane almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Defensores de Lombroso's Gianluca Buffon did a great save. In the 60th minute Felipe Cucao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluca Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oto Ööpik made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Uriel Ferrer sent off a good shot on target. Defensores de Lombroso's Alan Varela was substituted for Federico Pirro. After a rather tough play, Defensores de Lombroso's Lucio Cordarrol got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Felipe Cucao hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Lionel-Andrés Messis short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Oto Ööpik to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, DHD SRL's Hermengildo Criston got a free kick in the 83rd minute. DHD SRL's Oto Ööpik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save DHD SRL from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lionel-Andrés Messi got free with Oto Ööpik in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gianluca Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Cucao in the 92nd minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Felipe Cucao had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gianluca Buffon. Defensores de Lombroso's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipe Cucao was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3.
