Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Federico Otsoko in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gianluca Buffon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. D10S's Federico Otsoko got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute Bruno Sauveur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Suero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Sauveur in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enrique Suero saved D10S from getting behind. The corner went over the outstretched arms of D10S's goalie and right to Uriel Ferrer. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. D10S's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Gianluca Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Otsoko, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. D10S were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Defensores de Lombroso's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dave Macchia took the corner. The corner led D10S's Dave Macchia to fire away a dangerous shot which Gianluca Buffon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 42nd match minute, Defensores de Lombroso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Gelacio to maneuver through the defense.

D10S's Mieszko Ciechocki was substituted for Federico Otsoko. The wind increased when Bruno Sauveur made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Defensores de Lombroso's goalkeeper Gianluca Buffon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, D10S's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Gelacio came free, but Enrique Suero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Teofilo Esdras almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but D10S's Enrique Suero did a great save. Gianluca Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mieszko Ciechocki in the 61st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Mieszko Ciechocki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gianluca Buffon was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. The referee ignored Defensores de Lombroso's protests and gave Agustin Fidencio a yellow card for diving instead. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bola Delana the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in D10S fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! Luciano Cunha hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Defensores de Lombroso left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than D10S.
